Blue sky day...

This fluffy blue tit didn't get the memo about staying away from the garden, seeing as it's RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch weekend!! A normally very busy garden for birds, is usually devoid of them!!!  

But the weather has been absolutely glorious so I think my presence outside has kept most of the birds away! I had new greenhouse covers to put on my  plastic greenhouses so that involved having to empty all the junk and plants I'd stored in them over winter!  Got rid of loads of old pots and have potted on some aquilegias that had been in there too so a very productive morning!! Even managed to give part of the lawn a light mowing! The rest of it is still quite boggy and  claggy!

Also discovered that one of our metal birdbaths was leaking, so that's on the list of things to mend! Note to self in future - stick to stone or plastic birdbaths!!
