Halo or corona?

This wonderful sight greeted me as I left Waitrose earlier today. It was a real wow moment. I’m not sure if it’s a halo or a corona.

It’s been sunny and cold with no flooding to be seen. The late afternoons are getting lighter and there are bulb shoots poking through the earth. These things are why I love January. It’s not spring but there is promise in the air on a day like this.
