Hunkering down

Phin was due to go to his daycare overnight as we had tickets to see the Rocky Horror show at 5pm but based on the actual winds in the morning, I cancelled the daycare. The weather was forecast to just get worse and I fully expected to see an email cancelling the performance as we are in the area covered by the Red weather warning.

However it took the theatre until 2pm to post notice that the performance was cancelled. It then took a further 3 hours to cancel the evening performance.

Stayed inside all day apart from two very quick local dog walks. Phin was a bit unsettled with the wind and happy to stay indoors. We played a lot with him and hid some of his kibble in the living room under cushions and things fur him to find.

Was very vented to receive an email in the evening asking me to complete a survey on the show I hadn’t seen!

No damage to us or the neighbours bar the bins blowing over and one neighbour losing a couple of fence planks. Hope everyone else stayed safe.
