'er, what about me?'

went to cut a hedge this morning with dad before heading north again. hedge cut and cleared up, grass cut, deadheading done, rubbish in the back of the car, plus lawnmower and tools.

'hang on a minute, what about the ladder?'
'oh, it'll go in'
'yeah, but will it go in *with room to get me in too*?'
'oh, you'll be fine'

thankfully there aren't police around in the village, or i think we might have been stopped as i spent the trip back home twisted round and bent over so that the ladders didn't decapitate me when we went round corners!
