I'll be Bound

CMC laughed incessantly as I tried on two suits for the July wedding.  I even had to dig some confetti out of one pocket.  I have never been a paragon of fashion; I fear they will both be condemned to the charity shops.  On that note CMC departed for her accordion session.  I took the opportunity to get my marmalade making underway.  I also entered the utterly mesmeric / bamboozling / befuddling / perplexing / deeply bewildering world of the billing department of the utility company that supplies electricity to the Hoy Kirk.  This time I deployed a rope around myself and tied it to the kitchen table, for I always fear I may never find my way out of the primordial depths.  The way out that has been suggested by CMC is to attend tonight’s Burns Supper in the Stenness Hall.  A few Burns functions are available in Orkney this evening.  But the prime reason to go to Stenness is to dance to the Ronald Anderson Band.  They’ll be queueing fae Ipswich.  I hope they avoid the clapshot detectors.  I note that the 1972 Montreux gig featuring Tony Williams and John Scofield didn’t start with clapshot.  Call themselves artists ?  Today’s ‘image’ is two field boundaries that were once marked by large slabs of slate.  The Flow was nearly flattened earlier but has now calmed down to a lazy frothy maelstro. Backing later. South Utsira 5 miles.
