All Change

Quiet down the Main Street but one or two folk around, relieved the storm was over.
I popped into Browns (open but cash only and a bit dark) and there was an American couple buying tonic water and chatting - on the look out for food of some sort - said if Tobermory Stores (co-op and all restaurants pubs etc are closed) had run out they’d be back for some gin! Woman working there said there was a noticeable change in demand as the day progressed - from batteries, torches etc to alcohol. I was in for a mop to clean the polytunnel which have now done so that’s another job ticked off the list.

As mentioned in yesterday’s blip the power is now back on for most people. I hope folk haven’t ended up with too much damage.
