Big Garden Birdwatch.

Since the next door neighbour took the dividing hedge down our Sparrow population has moved to a further away hedge, too far for me to get any decent photos from our upstairs.  However, at the back of our garden we still have a large holly hedge which is thriving with a Wren family, blackbirds and sparrows.  My count today didn’t reveal much in the hour today though:  2 Blackbirds, 4 Starlings, 2 Magpies, 1 Blue Tit and this Wood Pigeon – hope to do better tomorrow?

Change in the weather today:  Blue skies and hardly any wind.  We’re the lucky ones.
