The Calm

……………………………….after the storm.

The wee one was delivered to his other grandparents late morning. After some lunch and a bit of crafting I went for a shower then loaded the washing machine before taking myself for a late afternoon stroll along the prom. I was surprised how calm it was and the only sign of damage was the odd fascia board lying at the far end.

A quiet night in now and looking forward to having my bed to myself this evening!
