Late afternoon walk by the river

A lovely sunny day, cloudy later and rain last night.

Another bad night and woke up with a headache.  Had been going to Hyde Hall but plans changed.  Quiet morning, although I did make a pear and ginger cake but its nice and warm in my kitchen in the morning:)  After lunch K and I went to Shoebury to the charity shop to take some jigsaws and books for them to sell, also came home with 2 new jigsaws:)  We then walked along the road to the seafront, passing this old gate in the iron railings which I'm using for DS challenge.  Blip is from the walk along part of the promenade, the water was calm and some people had walked out.  The land you can see is Kent
