Thawing weather

A beautiful Saturday, but actually far too warm for January. Various weather stations across the country have set new temperature records. 

We were in the garden in the afternoon and cut back some of the shrubs in the hedge. The blip is from the melting layer of ice on the fountain (the tree is reflected, the air bubbles are trapped in the ice).
