Burns Night

January 25th is Burns Night when many a Scot is having Haggis & Neeps for dinner (like my sister).

This little book of Burns poems I bought at Burns Cottage in Ayr back in the 70’s. When we lived in Ayr & then Prestwick, the cottage and other places connected to Burns were visited often.

Incidentally my middle name is Burns

One of the first blessings on our food our learned was the Selkirk Grace.

Today our temperature as reached 50°F/10°C and so the majority of the snow has melted.
