Murton Pike

… a first for me.
Feeling worn out I was very slow to get going and so left it very late after a lot of faffing about simplifying arrangements for the week and tidying the garden after yesterday’s storm.
It was gorgeous up there and it would have been nice to have carried on a bit further but my eyes on the map were bigger than my feet on the ground and it was bitterly cold so I headed back as the sun went down and made my way to the co-op. I’ll be back up there with my geology leaflet and more time … it looks fascinating.
