Early Bird

This week has been rough, Mace wasn’t feeling well, and he gets super clingy when he’s sick. We aren’t sure what he ate or did, just know that he certainly isn’t himself. Could be a cold or he could’ve fallen off the couch (again) or he may have eaten something that was tough to digest.

He really just wouldn’t stay comfortable for more than a couple of hours and then would need to pee/poop before settling back in for another couple of hours. This meant I would be up with him, and since he’s so clingy, I chose to sleep on the couch with him so we didn’t disturb BJ.

I’m not complaining, he’s an old guy and I know my time with him is limited. This morning we were both up before the sun and as he snuggled back into his blanket I watched as the sun rose over the horizon before staring my day. Feeling pretty blessed to have this life!
