A moment in time

Candlelight

Today was a much calmer day, and we even had a little sunshine, but we also had a heavy fall of snow in our town.  It lay for a little, but has pretty much melted in the evening.

E, C, and K along with Bob and I went into Glasgow, and we had a meal at a lovely Greek restaurant, Elia.  I had moussaka after we all had a selection of meze, and the food and service was just lovely.  And we all had a wee bit of baklava for dessert, with coffee.

Then we went  to 'Candlelight Bridgerton on Strings', at the Merchants House of Glasgow just off George Square.  This was Emma's Christmas gift to us and it was terrific, the candlelight was amazing, and the string quartet wonderful and the whole thing was very atmospheric.

It was a lovely treat for us all, and always nice to have some family time.
