With our power still off we headed out to treat ourselves for brunch and a walk around Dalkeith Country Park as the sun set. Filled up the petrol can to keep the generator going for another day as it seems the next estimate of power returning is by 23:59 on Sunday, which is effectively a finger in the air guess by SP Energy, the time just moves on to give them more time. I don't think they realise that if people knew it would be off for +2.5 days, they may do something different, but adding 24 hours to it each day makes you think it might be back soon. As I said yesterday, we are coping with our generator, it's just a hassle.
