Burns Night

Tonight I played for a Burns Night celebration at Ellesmere College with Band 1.  We got there early and set up then went to the White Hart in Ellesmere for the two hours while they were eating.  Friends of ours were there so we sat with them chatting.

When we got back they were still eating (there were 7 courses) and were given some food too. Eventually we started the ceilidh and plenty of people were dancing.

The band were given a bouquet of flowers in appreciation which was very kind.  The other lady band member has just moved and said that she has nowhere to put them yet so I was the lucky one to have them (a future blip I'm sure).

My blip is before the dancing started, it's a magnificent building.
