Rocketman

Owen's class have been looking at using IT to design and make rockets (out of paper, toilet roll tubes, and plastic bottles). He's very proud of the finished article. They've also been using Numicon and talking about doubling*. 

I had a day surveying the lab to make sure we know the minimum floor space we need for any possible alternative layout. I'd gone in with a headache and, despite the painkillers, it just got worse and I ended up heading home early for an hour's lie down in a dark room. That did mean I could also pick Owen up even if it was a very precarious journey home carrying that rocket in the wind.
