Walkies

It's been a glorious day today.  Perfect weather.   While it is Australia Day today I am a bit hesitant about going all out until we can come to an agreement where everyone feels they can celebrate Australia day.  For many of our First nations it is called Invasion Day with all the connotations of colonialism.  I am sure in my life time the date will be changed and I am perfectly happy about that.

I did however go to a pool party today where music of ACDC, Men at Work, Johnny Farnham, INXS and Midnight Oil featured heavily.  I have to say I really enjoyed lazing around in the pool and the company not to mention the music.

So for those of you that do celebrate, Happy Straya day.  Commiserations for those who don't.

The blip is a detour on the way home and winding up at Nobbys where a relative stiff breeze was blowing and the kite surfers were out as were the usual walkers.  Fluffy doesn't look too impressed here.  The backdrop is the Pasha Bulker sculpture.
