Hockney
I went to the David Hockney exhibition after seeing a good friend DB post about it and it coming up in my social media timeline. I also bought my sister and brother-in-law tickets.
Purposefully I didn't look into what it was going to be like. When you know to much, it might not deliver, so I feel less the best approach.
It certainly did deliver!
From the entrance of walking down a long dark corridor, to the exit, it was a still journey through time (still: because you didn't move, but everything moved around you).
Had it not been the last day, I would go back to watch again. David narrates throughout and explains why painting pictures if better than photography. But later in life he uses multiple photographs to create pictures.
It was all very clever and clearly a man that sees a works from a different perspective.
