Traitors ?

I was intrigued that the finale of Traitors was covered on Friday evening on Newsnight - not least because it attracted 10mn viewers. 
Previously, I felt we had hit some new low when they put Paddy McGuinness on Question Time. Anyhow, this posed the question about what this all tells us about the psyche of the nation. Not sure that got answered and we perhaps have to conclude that while we don’t “get it”, it’s fairly harmless and keeps a lot of folks happy.
Apparently the next step will be “Celebrity Traitors”….but I confidently predict I won’t know any of the stars ( soap people, Influencers etc )….
