Another Day

North Devon

JJ and I managed to walk down to the shop and back without getting wet, but it was windy and rather chilly.

Back to sorting prints for external competitions, but naturally my images don’t fit the two remaining mounts that I tend to use.  Mounts are about three times the price they were five years ago, although I appreciate some of you will have mounts cutters.  It wouldn’t be economical for me.

I’m also running out of Permajet Oyster paper, which is what I use for printing.  I do remember a speaker we had recently said she was a Permajet Ambassador, so I found the 20% discount code and used that to order more paper.

I’m also going through inks at a rate of knots, so more expense and I am coming to the conclusion that it’s too expensive to put prints forward for competitions unless they are going on the wall afterwards.

This is one looking towards Bull Point lighthouse between Ilfracombe and Woolacombe which may go into a competition in the near future and will definitely hang on the wall.
