A Fallen Bloom

We had a bit of a stormy night again. There were gusts of 83 mph at Berry Head. For a third time in as many days my bird table was blown over, this time in the opposite direction. I put it back together yesterday so it would be there for my big garden birdwatch but I fear it may not be repairable. We'll see.

After the main rain event passed around lunch time we've had some sunny spells. Unfortunately they've been followed quickly by more showers. I noticed this orchid flower which had fallen and thought it might do for today's blip.

Thunder and lightning are crashing around us now as Storm Herminia comes through.
