Loungeroom Lizards

A busy Saturday. Whilst Annie was cracking on with her MBA studies, I was out early for the monthly Haddenham Classics car meet. After some pretty miserable weather it was chilly but blue skies. Lots of great cars to see and car chat to engage in. 

Then I was off to London and my afternoon destination was the exhibition of 80s photography at the Tate Britain. Lots of social history documented through some great photography, some reportage and other more artistic, lots of social change through that decade. Worth a visit especially if you lived through the 1980s in the UK. 

Then it was back across London to Camden and a meet up with friends before we went to support one of them who is in a recently formed Crowded House tribute band (The Loungeroom Lizards) playing keys, guitar and vocals. They were on the bill with a Split Enz tribute band at The Dublin Castle (nice venue) and put on a great show in advanced celebration of Australia Day (which is Sunday 26th January).
