A trip to Market
always holds some surprise - so
today - the Circus!

I was up having my coffee and writing postcards by 8. At 10 I opted for a late breakfast at the Marketplace and a search for some fabric. 

My surprise driving into the Marketplace was finding a circus big top tent set up in the southwest corner of the parking lot. I discovered that this circus is a new one originating in Finland. It started its first season with a show here in Yuma on Friday. 

I enjoyed my breakfast sandwich in the Marketplace while people watching. I found the perfect fabric for the next project. I met up with a couple of quilters who invited me for coffee tomorrow morning.  I wandered a bit looking for colour. It isn't hard to find. 

My shock today was finding a small vendor selling promotional merchandise for the great orange pumpkin that just took office. I'm happy to say they were doing no business as I walked by. When will this be over?

I'm home for the day in my quiet neighbourhood.
