Learning

We went to church this morning. I was pleased to see that the Christmas trees and decorations are still up - in Scotland they will be long gone, but here they remain until 2nd February (Candlemas).

This is the first time that Fr John’s new puppy, Vito, has come to church. He slept through most of the service and afterwards was made a great fuss of. He is 3 months old. We all loved Fr John’s last dog, Sophie, who sadly died last year.

My sister and nieces came round and we all went out for a late lunch. And I have just returned from a catch up with blipper bivbov :-)

I am getting a bit worried about returning home on Tuesday as there is still a lot of disruption on the railways. So I booked a contingency overnight bus to Glasgow for tomorrow night, just in case. The weather is supposed to be very windy here tomorrow…
