My Hometown . . . Bruce Springsteen
It has been very windy today so the beach was off and instead we took a walk to show TLD the eels in Saxton stream. The forester took some venison mince to feed them. Well the eels had to fight the ducks off for the meat. As soon as we reached the pond the ducks came swimming in. The white duck was especially aggresive. I have put a photo showing the eels coming out of the water in extras. I have never seen this behaviour before.
Mono Monday . . . Perspective
I am suggesting my main blip is a different perspective of where I live. From the flat I am looking up to the Richmond Hills. My house is in the group on the right hand side about a 1/3 of the way in. The path up the hill to the power pylon is there. I usually blip looking down from the hill or across to the estuary from my deck. Thanks to Laurie for hosting this month.
In the afternoon we walked around to Amanda and Pete and gave them tomatoes. The tomatoes are ripening quickly in this sunshine. Then we dropped TLD at the airport and she flies back to Auckland to resume her grown up life in the city.
