Helicopter pad

...out the ER ambulance bay, taken by my colleague Parsa. He and I were the triage techs tonight assisting the two nurses. We had some back-to-back stroke patients so were busy...."controlled chaos" is how he described it. The helicopter picked up a patient we did not encounter, someone very sick who needed transport to our larger regional hospital.

My shift yesterday 11a-11p wasn't bad and I really enjoyed working with a nurse from Trinidad. But while I thought I'd be fine after a good night's sleep I was really pretty tired all day Sunday. Tonight I worked only four hours, picking up the end of a friend's shift, and now I have a couple days off. Think I'm fighting off some of the bugs going around.

The snow is softening as the temps rise. I walked around the house and looked at all the tracks, mostly deer, and snapped the extra to look up. I think it's a fox track.

Hope you all have a good week ahead!
