Snowdrops… reflections

Popped up to Inveresk Lodge Garden to blip the snowdrops, and while there, I was nattering to the volunteers about gardening in general.

Apparently, there’s a good show up the road at Lady Ann Fraser’s house, one of the UK’s leading botanical artists and the snowdrops that grow in her garden are amazing. She opens her garden on Thursdays from February 4-27 for people to view and also on Sunday February 16. I understand there is a small charge which goes to charity. I shall report back, hopefully, in a future blip.

I wanted to blip something natural and hopefully, of beauty too, bearing in mind today is the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. 

We should never forget, and must educate younger generations on the evils of division and hatred. A poignant day.
