Boot Scraper in Perspective

I was making some minor adjustments to our boot scrapers this morning (adding a cup hook so that I can reach them to pick them up) and I was about to put the front door scraper back and it suddenly struck me.  When I got up I realised that the scraper would make a good subject for ‘perspective’.
 
Need I say more . . .  ??
 
I did take a selection of shots including some photo stacks, but decided that the DoF in this single shot at f/18 does the trick.
 
Biskit sitting again, last minute request, but I’m being forced to take things easy – I’m not complaining.  To be honest, after a very short walk and breakfast I sat in my armchair and slept for another couple of hours.
