Dreaming of big adventures

We were in Peebles today for some adventure dreaming at the Wild Writers Festival. We watched a few films about activities we will never do, including wingsuit flying. Bonkers!

But the highlight we’re talks and interviews with 2 mountain women - Jamie Aaron’s and Anna Wells. Both completed the Scottish Munro’s in record times. Jamie’s was the fastest continuous self propelled (on foot, bike and boat) circuit, whilst Anna’s was the fastest winter circuit. Crazy, but absolutely amazing women. And they were such good interviewees - good humoured, down to earth and very smiley.
With a walk along the river and a cafe lunch with friends it was a good day out.
