maternal grandfather

My grandfather worked for the Dutch merchant marine, (Koninklijke Nederlandsche Stoomboot Maatschappij). The ship was named  the Ganymendes. During World War Two he developed Parkinson's. He was brought to Watford, England. This photograph of him was taken in Watford, 3 August 1945, 179A High Street, Watford.
