HOLOCAUST DAY. !

80 years since the liberation of AUSCHWITZ . We use the phase “ Lest we Forget” in reference to WW1/2 , but we should also use it on this daytoo. We Must Never Forget. Have we learnt? I fear not, wars still smoulder around the world. We have been watching the memorial service, how sobering is this. Tears. Flow but we must remember them.
Those that hate never win , just practise kindness , understanding, love & peace.
My long standing friends are calling in for a cuppa before they go back to Somerset . So that will be nice as I haven’t seen them for 2years . Though we speak each week on the phone.
A is just about to leave now ( 3.20 pm) he’s late in going this afternoon . Hope he doesn’t get too delayed with school traffic. He was as interested as I am re the memorial service.
