The threatened Spanish named storm did not arrive to us today so I messaged the retired Hobblers to see if they fancied doing a circuit of the Estate, and they did.  There were several rants en route:  internet provider charges; financial advisers; companies which don't value loyalty etc. but also discussion of favourite novels; book clubs; Michael MacIntyre and Bargain Hunt.

I have felt guilty re. the housework so ran the hoover until the battery ran out of charge (good reason for stopping doing housework) then spent an hour in the drying ground clearing a pathway of brambles.
