The wind has gone and the summerhouse has survived. Not so our Red Broom though. Thrashed it was.
Anyway, after taking stock and collecting the papers, it was off to meet the boat club politburo to discuss potential future developments. MP has even made a 1:75 model so he can pretend he’s Albert Speer or something.
Off for a swift spectate at footie - six games unbeaten. This lifts us to the headie heights of 9th!
But no beers after - straight home and into the kilt, fiddle in its case under my arm, as it’s the FCYC Burns Supper! A terrific occasion. The food and company were excellent, the speeches awful, but at the end of the evening the assembled throng were given a real treat. Step forward, the boat club Walrus band!
