Corners

My partner and were both off work today so we wandered down to Morrison Street for a lunch of gyros and chilli + feta fries before heading into town for a look at the photography exhibition at The Portrait Gallery - very appropriately displayed in the Robert Mapplethorpe room, after I'd spent the morning lying on the sofa reading Patti Smith's book about the pair of them.

We also spent a good chunk of time over coffee in a cafe looking at the Nick Cave solo dates for Europe this summer and considering whether we should base a week of annual leave in July around his schedule. Hmm, south of France is always good, but then Naples and Rome are big favourites too. Never been to Bulgaria in August either...to be considered!
