Lovely colours and textures in the lichen and moss on my old Cox's apple tree.
The wind has been much stronger than forecast and although it's been mainly dry it has seemed much colder than the 7 degrees registering on the thermometer.    We did have rain this afternoon but it soon cleared, thankfully.
