A first

I've never seen a squirrel around here before. This one was finding food own the grass opposite my house. I'm surprised the local cats didn't come and chase it away. 
The sun came out at lunchtime so I had a very wet and muddy walk down the field to the canal. The wind was so cold and vicious. It was nice and sheltered by the canal. Just as I was nearing home it started to rain. I'm glad I went out when I did.
