Physcia stellaris

....I think ...

Not an expert on lichen but I know what I like.

This lovely example is on top of a kissing gate and looked especially good in the brief period of brightness on my walk today

Another two miles along the dale. Hollie ran free and cared not a jot about the sheep that had been deposited in the field.

It was very windy today, on my outbound mile I had the wind behind me so the walking was easy.

On the homeward mile it was in my face, and at times the driving rain stung the flesh. Much harder going back but very 'fresh' and invigorating.

This afternoon my wife and I went into Ludlow to buy bird food and other bits and pieces, and them home for tea and crumpets. I had honey on mine, just very moorish!
