Greenfinch

So while I definitely feel the need to get out and go further afield, today was not the day to do it.  Weather-wise, much of the day was sunny, although windy, and there were occasional very heavy showers. Still, today is the last day of storm Hermina so things should start to improve (crosses fingers).

Instead, of going out, today has largely been a day of indoor activities.  The goldfinch was taken perched on a tree in the garden, taken from the conservatory, which doubled as a bird hide  :-)
