Salvaging
This months home work is taking pictures of the February Mart Fair in Kings Lyn, a fairground of bright colourful lights and rides spinning and twisting around at high speed. All this is after dark so long exposures and therefore a tripod.
I own a tripod but have not used it for a lot of years. Finally found it buried at the back of one of the shelves in the garage, cover in dust muck and crud. I have spent a couple of days cleaning this up and it now appears reasonably serviceable, although the blip makes it still look dusty
The cable shutter release has also not been used since the tripod and now does not work. New one ordered.
My camera strap is a cross body one that attaches to the tripod screw fixing in the camera. New strap needed, and ordered.
I need to get some practice with low light photography so, once all the orders have arrived and are sorted I might be out prowling the streets after dark looking for targets. Could be interesting
If I am arrested I hope some of you will contribute to a fund the bail me out of jail
