Pond preservation

Our pond has survived a lot of challenges over the years including my initial instinct to fill it in when we first moved to the house with small children.  However, the most destructive in the end was the arrival of the ducks last Spring.  They ate everything in the pond and made a continuously patched hole bigger and now un-reparable.  

So, since nothing is currently living in it, we've got a local company to come on Friday to replace and re-line the whole thing and upgrade the piping and pump.  I'm excited and it's certainly overdue.   

Therefore this is the 'before' photo.
