Was woken up around 4am by a clap of thunder which sounded as if it was directly above the house … but no more came.

It was pouring with rain and bright sunshine too as MrD drove me to Bangor for my optician’s appointment with the specialist re. Cataracts …

We came straight home afterwards and I had a long rest whilst my eyes took all afternoon and evening to return to normal.

Watched a few episode of “All Creatures Great and Small”.
