Burdock

This is burdock, as in dandelion and. Last year I had one self-seeded and growing in the garden; it was huge. I couldn't place it, so pulled it out. Soon as I chucked it on the compost, it came to me what it was. Durrrrr.

This one I found the other day, down by the river. Plenty of dandelions growing in the wilderness that is my back garden. I feel a chocolate coming on....
