arriving

Well, it’s an early blip from me today, since although the power is back on at home, the internet and mobile signal will not be restored until the end of January. So I’m blipping on the bus.

The bus in question is the x74 from Glasgow to Dumfries, where I hope my car will be waiting for me, undamaged by flying masonry during the storm.

The Flix bus overnight was better than I’d expected. I had reserved a seat at the front and could listen to the drivers’ banter. I slept pretty well, but since there was no opportunity to get off, I was a little stiff on arrival. I walked to my favourite coffee shop by the station and then on to visit (briefly) the Mitchell Library and Kelvingrove Museum(extra). Quite a few trees were down in the park, and lots of twiggy debris.
