Wound up in Wexford

We have lambs next door

In the morning I drove to Adamstown for a BP check and then pick up medication at the pharmacy.  I also dropped off several months supplies of gin and wine bottles at the nearby bottle bank.

I drove up very wet roads to the garden centre, to get peanuts for the birds.  I was supposed to be meeting someone there for coffee, but their restaurant isn't open on a Monday.  So instead we had a coffee at The Cloch Bán, in Clonroche.

In the afternoon I got a haircut in Ballinaboola.  When I arrived home, the dozen or so sheep in the field next door came hurrying towards me, baaing loudly.  It's been pretty miserable weather, maybe they were hoping to shelter in our garage.  They have 5 lambs at the moment, of varying sizes and colours.

In the evening, we watched the first episode of Death Comes to Pemberley.  It has a rather darker atmosphere than I was expecting - though given it's written by P.D. James, maybe I shouldn't have been surprised.
