The Local Laundrette
There aren't many of these around any more, but here is proof that the one on 'Eastenders' isn't the only one.
I remember my mum, back in the 1960s, trailing down to a laundrette on Dumbarton Road in Partick with our washing before we could afford our first twin-tub.
I stopped to blip this scene of two women waiting for their laundry cycle to be finished. I liked the reflection of the rectangular windows of the tenement across the street.
