Roseate Spoonbill
The main photo is a Juvenile Roseate Spoon we saw at Bennett Park in Bradenton, Florida. Luckily for us, the park was built as a bird estuary.
The first extra photo is of the same bird, slightly different angle, so you can see it's "spoon bill!" The second extra is an Adult Spoonbill with more colorful feathers. Cornell Lab's All About Birds is a great place to see more photos & learn more about them.
A fun fact I read on that site:
The Roseate Spoonbill is 1 of 6 species of spoonbills in the world and the only one found in the Americas. The other 5 spoonbills (Eurasian, Royal, African, Black-faced, and Yellow-billed) occur in Asia, Africa, Europe, and Australia.
