Moussaka

Another miserable day weather-wise, with strong winds and heavy rain  showers. 
However, I was cheered when I discovered that H G Wells' "The History of Mr Polly," is being read on radio 4 on Sunday afternoons, with the first instalment today. It is a story I like a lot and, in fact, had planned to re-read, having recently come across my copy when doing some (half -hearted!) tidying up.
This evening, Martin made us a veggie moussaka ( kidney beans instead of meat) which was tasty, and with plenty  leftover for  another night. 
Also, we watched a repeat of Michael Portillo's programme when he was  travelling on the Ghan railway, which brought  back happy memories of our trip on the same train  last September.
