Light at Luz

Spent the day at Dan and Mireille's new house in Luz, which is one of the other towns in our Conselho, only about five minutes drive away. They've moved from Safara, basically because all their friends are here. 

Mike and Guilhaume put a gutter up to siphon the rain water away from the house, and Mireille and I were assembling IKEA kitchen units. By the end, we were getting fast enough that we wondered about setting up in business, ha. Then I stained some other bits that they want to make into bookshelves.

Gratefuls:
- them kindly taking us out for dinner here at Domingos' place, as nowhere in Luz was open
- Paul and Felicity booking to come for a week in March; we'll fly back to England together, much nicer than on my own
- a quick walk round Luz on my own, see stork flying from nest on church in extra
