Missed my chance

The poster should have been removed several months ago. 
The granddaughters and I have talked about getting tattoos together, a small thistle to remind them of their Scottish heritage. Krista has quite a few tattoos, more than Kalyn. I'm not keen on tattoos, but I would like to do this with them. I often thought of going back to Scotland with our daughter and granddaughters to show them where I lived when I was young. It's such a beautiful country, and it would be great to tour with them. Might still happen, who knows?
I'm sure I've mentioned in this journal that Kalyn is playing pro volleyball in Germany. Her boyfriend is going over for three weeks, and they're planning to drive to Italy when she has a break in her schedule. Venice is where they want to spend most of their time, and their route will take them through the part of Italy where G came from. Excited for them!
After seeing numerous blips about the trees down because of Eowyn, I searched for a video about the worst wind storm I've experienced on this island, December 2018. The winds were incredible, and hundreds of trees came down. Power was out for days on most of the island. The video shows some of the damage days after the storm and some of the clean up had started. Destruction Hopefully an ad won't come up before the video starts. It was devastating to see so many trees down.
